Goal

Wanted to increase the number of "new" members signing up to the gym per month and also were in need of more applications for their 6 week transformation program.

Strategy

To achieve this goal we set out on creating a Facebook ad campaign concentrated on generating leads and creating a tailored chatbot for the 6 week transformation program.

Overview

Our client’s marketing strategy was more physical than digital e.g. flyers. But with the obvious rise of fitness influencers/celebrities in the digital space and the fact a lot of the target market are active on social media, our client knew they had to embrace digital. So, we went about implementing a paid traffic strategy and a Chatbot marketing strategy to achieve the goals outlined above.

Monetary ROI

We concentrated on driving targeted traffic to “attractive offers” and re-targeting ads to just “nudge” potential members to take the next step and call or take us up on our offers.

 
This single advertisement generated 39 leads for ONLY £45 which led to 4 new members. The base membership at the time was £80 per month for 12 months.

Social ROI

With the gym we were also looking to increase social engagement and the gym’s social following. But not just for more likes, comments and shares. 

 
We did this for mainly two reasons. One to increase social clout and trust in the Jdarpt brand, this helped to attract new members indirectly due to social proof. And two we re-targeted people who engaged with these ads with our offer ads to bring in more “new” members directly.

As you can see with the screenshot this engagement ad led to 148 total engagements. Each one of these engagers was re-targeted with our monetary ads due to showing an interest in the gym!
 

Chatbot Leads

We implemented a very specific Chatbot Strategy to promote the 6 week transformation program. Chatbots were great in taking new leads and nurturing them till the point they were ready to take action.


Utilizing Facebook ads which directly funneled  to the Chatbot allowed for new leads to gather more information about the gym without any human assistance.
 
As you can see with the screenshot, the Chatbot allowed the new lead to go through the sequence of options to the point where they could make their intentions clear! Here the potential “new” member was curious of the pricing structure of the 6 week transformation program.
